No more lugging bulky car seats through the airport and down the aisles of planes.  This great invention gave me and my son (shown) a peaceful and stress-free flight.
WHAT IS CARES?
CARES (Child Aviation Restraint System) is the first and only FAA approved harness-style child safety device for kids 22-44lbs as an alternative to a car seat permitted on planes.
The FAA certification gives parents the right to bring CARES on board and use it for their kids for all phases of flight: taxiing, take off, turbulence and landing.
CARES recently won the 2008 Good Housekeeping Good Buy Awards.

WHAT WILL I GET?
You will receive a used CARES, instructional DVD, installation instruction card, stuff sack, and return Priority Mail envelope (postage required) in order for you to return the CARES to me.
HASSLE FREE RETURNS
Prepaid, preaddressed return Priority Mail envelopes are also available for an additional for 1 CARES.  For 2 CARES, the cost ranges from - depending on where you're located.  Please let me know if you'd like a prepaid envelope and I'll send a separate invoice via PayPal.
PAYMENT
When renting 2 or more CARES, allow me to send an invoice with your discount first before you submit payment.  Please note that the shipping for 2 CARES will vary from - depending on your location with being the cost to ship 2 CARES to remote and west coast areas.

If you don't contact me first, I can't guarantee I have availability for your dates, nor can I ship your CARES until I have your travel dates.

Please note the "handling time" and "estimated delivery" date listed in this auction are not applicable as this is a RENTAL transaction
.  Once you have contacted me with your travel dates and I confirm availability, the expected delivery date would be approx. 2-3 days after the proposed ship date or sooner if Express shipping is selected.
The CARES harness must be returned (postmarked) via Priority Mail no later than 2 days after you return from your trip unless other arrangements are made.  Failure to do so will result in a late charge of /day.
Should you choose not to use the provided return envelope with the preaddressed label for the return of the CARES, you
MUST
return it using a trackable service.  Otherwise,
you will be responsible
for replacement of the CARES (.95 each) should I not receive it.
Failure to return any of the CARES rented in the same condition it was received will result in me returning the CARES to you for the full purchase price of .95 each.
IF YOU LOSE OR FAIL TO RETURN THE CARES, YOU, THE RENTER (OR "BUYER" IN EBAY TERMS), WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL REPLACEMENT COST OF .95 EACH.
If the CARES carry bag/stuff sack is lost or returned damaged, there will be a charge to replace it.  Failure to return the installation instruction card and/or instructional DVD will result in a fee of each for replacement of the instruction card and each for replacement of the DVD.
While I do not rent/send damaged CARES or supplemental items, at times, it's possible some damage may occur to those items during shipment.  Therefore, it is your responsibility to inspect the CARES package and its contents (DVD, installation instruction card, stuff sack) for any damage once it's received.  Should there be any damage whatsoever, you
MUST
notify me immediately.  Otherwise,
you will be responsible
for replacement of the damaged item(s).
One final note:
when giving your
travel
dates, your
exact travel dates
are appreciated.  Please don't "cushion" them by adding days on to the front and/or back end.  I allow plenty of time for the CARES to reach you for your departure date (your CARES will generally arrive 4-6 days before you leave) and do account for misroutings by the USPS, holidays, etc., so there is no need to tack on days to the front or back end of your travel.  Additionally, I'm flexible with the return (postmark) day.  I believe 2 days (discounting Sundays and holidays) is enough time to get the CARES to the post office but if you need more time just let me know!  I usually can accommodate your request.  This will allow me to rent and schedule the CARES in an efficient manner and alleviate alot of the unnecessary "dead time".  With that being said, the rental period is for
UP TO 21 TRAVEL DAYS
.  If your travel dates really aren't for 21 days, please don't ask to keep it that long.  In my opinion, there really is no reason to have the CARES 10 days before you leave and to keep it for another 10 days after you return if you're traveling for only a week.  This will allow other renters to use the CARES for their trip, increase availability, and hopefully allow me to provide you the most efficient rental service I can.
