The front of the card has a QR Code that links to an online [security watermarked] copy of your CDC vaccine card, a great way to validate your card is not something you bought on 42nd St. The QR Code is monogrammed with the NCIR logo making it spoof-proof.
The card also clearly display your immunization data and your photo.

The card works many way - the QR Code validates the card. If no cell phone reception is available or you are in a place a cell phone is not convenient, like near water, the waterproof PVC card has the data you need.
